New High School Principal...

We have completed a very thorough interview process for the PHS Principal position. Admittedly, finding someone to fill Mr. Wright’s shoes is a daunting task, to say the least, and he will certainly be missed by all of PISD. With that said, we are excited to announce the selection of Dr. John Burdett as the next principal of PHS. Dr. Burdett has 22 years of experience as a classroom teacher, elementary and high school assistant principal, high school principal, and central office. He is looking forward to meeting with students, staff, and parents between now and the end of the school year. We are happy to welcome Dr. Burdett, his wife, and three sons to the phenomenal Prosper community.

"Meet & Greet with Dr. Burdett" - Coming Soon!

New District Athletic Director...

We are also excited to announce the hiring of Valerie Little as the District Athletic Director. Valerie Little is coming to Prosper ISD from McKinney ISD where she served as the Associate Athletic Director. Little was a successful coach and teacher from 2002-2011 at McKinney North High School as well as the Assistant Campus Coordinator. Starting in 2010 Little was the Title IX Coordinator, she then moved to Assistant Athletic Director, and then Associate Athletic Director for McKinney ISD. We are happy to welcome Coach Little, her husband, and two children to Prosper ISD.
