Destination Imagination (DI) is a fun, hands-on system of learning for students that encourages creativity, curiosity, problem-solving, and team work through open-ended academic challenges. DI is open for all Prosper ISD students. This is a parent driven opportunity for students. Parents volunteer to serve as Team Managers and form teams.

Prosper ISD supports the DI program. If you are interested in finding out about DI in our district, please see the FAQ document on this webpage. You will also find the registration form for your children, where you can also indicate if you are willing to serve as Team Manager. Our regional DI hosts training for parents willing to serve as Team Managers. Answers to questions asked at the parent information meeting:
YES, the team will need to register and receive a team number for each Challenge they pursue. They can use the same team name to register for each separate Challenge. In other words, you cannot use one team number to register for multiple Challenges. Only one Challenge is permitted for each team number.
YES, just as long as each team is working on different Challenges. It would also need to be made clear on all registration forms and applicable tournament data forms that a student is participating in more than one Challenge. Tournament schedules will be coordinated to avoid overlapping Challenge performance times and Instant Challenge times.
